Minigame Review #2: EggWars

Sometimes known as Money Wars, EggWars is a great game found on the Cubecraft server. There are many maps in EggWars (When I say many, I mean it!) including special holiday maps that are released on special occasions. 

 The rules of EggWars are simple: Each team (or player) is on a floating island. Each team has three or more generators on their island (That spew out resources every so often), a trading villager (where you trade your resources for goods) and an Egg. You must protect that egg at all costs!

 All players will respawn after every time they die, that is, until your egg is destroyed. Surround your egg with obsidian, sandstone, and anything else you can get your hands on. You cannot break blocks that are not placed within the game.

 At your island, you can upgrade your generators, but your diamond generator starts not working! You have to go to middle, get diamonds there, and upgrade it before you can get diamonds strait from your island home.

 There are four modes of Minecraft EggWars: Team, Solo, Speed, and Team Speed. The first mode released was team, than came solo, than finally Speed and team Speed, which were released together. The speed modes are the same as the normal modes, but all players are swifter than your normal speed.

Construction
An epic map, construction is a great map for Solo EggWars, and is a great map, containing a couple small middle islands that surround a giant island filled with unfinished buildings.

Farm
The map Farm is a beautiful map, each base having a windmill, and the middle being a big farm house with a diamond generator hidden on its roof.

Golf
A nice and basic map, Golf is a great map for rushing other player's islands, and its middle has a nice ring around it.

Steampunk
A great solo map, Steampunk is very detailed, each island being held up by a propeller. Beware, it's easy to get rushed by an opposing team in this map because of how close the islands are to each other.

Aztec
A beautiful 4 vs 4 vs 4 vs 4 map, Aztec has an ancient lava temple for a middle, and is a great map for building secret hideouts at the back.

Tea Party
One of the original maps, Tea Party is a great map, containing palaces that surround the middle, which is a dessert table filled with cake, tea cups, and tasty treats.

Storm
A snowy cabin and beautiful evergreens, Storm is very detailed, even including an igloo at the middle island, and a rescue helicopter above every island.

Fairground
A favourite of many, fairground is a great map to play with 2 of your friends (3 per team) and contains many small details, like many of the other EggWars maps.

Cubecraft's Eggwars was not only a hit, but also inspired many other games, including Hypixel's Bedwars, which is among the most popular Minecraft minigames of 2017, and is still a prototype.

Guilds are a great addition to Hypixel, and there are many cool things you can do with them. They are pretty much a clan of players, brought together by one leader. Together you work as a team to earn guild coins (get these from winning games) and with them you can upgrade your guild's size, get your players guild tags, and make room for more officers (second in-command). The more in your guild, the merrier! You can only create guilds if you have VIP+ or higher, but that doesn't mean you can't join them if you don't have that rank! MiniBuild #4: Quartz Throne

Quartz thrones are fancy thrones, that give off the vibe of a  'Wealthy Duke,' instead of the 'Medieval Emperor' vibes you get from the Stone brick throne. This quartz throne design, like many other thrones, has a gem in its centre. I used emerald, but you could also use gold, diamond, or lapas.  Requires: Block of quartz, Pillar quartz block, Quartz stairs, Quartz slab, Purple (or any colour) carpet, Block of emerald. Step One: Build two pillars made of a Chiseled quartz block, and a Quartz pillar block. Put an upside down quartz stairs block in between. Step Two: Behind your two pillars, build  a triangle of blocks  made up of two Quartz pillar blocks and two Quartz blocks. Minigame Review #1: Murder Mystery

A very popular minigame, Murder mystery is a quick game on Hypixel server, and is one of the most popular games on Hypixel as of May 2017, and is still a prototype! Murder mystery has great rules, great roles, and beautiful maps built by the skilled Hypixel builders. At the beginning of each game, you get assigned a role: You are either the Murderer, the Detective, or an Innocent. There are 14 innocents, but only one murderer, and only one detective. If you're the murderer, your goal is to kill every innocent in five minutes. You have a sword that can be thrown, and no one knows you are the murderer unless they see your sword, or you're obvious about it, so stay sneaky! If you're one of the many innocents, stay alive as long as you can, and avoid dying at the hands of the murderer (or falling off a ledge).
